Adeline graduated from Makami College in December 2015 and joined Massage Heights that same year. She has always been passionate about massage therapy as her family has a massage business back home in the Philippines. She enjoys the aspect of providing a ‘healing touch’ and helping others. Her favourite area to work on is the neck, upper back, and shoulder region. Because most people experience stress in that region, Adeline feels she can provide relief for many by treating the area.

Adeline briefly went abroad to London, England, where she trained as an International Massage therapist in 2018/2019. Her goals beyond massage therapy are to travel more to places like Israel and back to her homeland, the Philippines. 

Adeline enjoys baking and cooking Pilipino and Chinese cuisine, partaking in karaoke, and gardening at home.

Criselda De Silva

Criselda graduated from Makami college in 2016 and has been employed with Massage Heights since 2015. She holds a certificate in TESDA NC II from the Philippines, a training course in customer service, and product availing services.

Criselda was drawn to massage therapy to help people. She enjoys working with guests to progress their bodies to a healthier state, so she mainly performs medium therapeutic and deep tissue treatments. Criseldas’s future aspirations are to continue traveling as much as possible and go back to school to expand my knowledge.

Hospicia Maggay

Hospicia graduated from Makami College in December of 2016 and joined Massage Heights the following February. She has always been passionate about Massage Therapy and sharing that passion with others through healing the body. Reflexology is her favorite ‘tool’ when working with guests; she first learned about Reflexology in Hong Kong as a domestic helper. Her goal is to continue learning and educating herself on the practice to improve guest experiences. 

Hospicia would like to travel back home to the Philippines to visit her family, and she enjoys cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Philip is a Bachelor in Elementary Education Graduate with extensive teaching and administrative experience. They are a certified Massage Therapist, with experience in a home-based and mobile massage business. If they were to describe themselves they would say they are resilient, result-oriented, highly organized, communicates actively across departments for operation-related matters, and is willing to learn new things as the work demands.

Wimzee Lara is a Registered Massage Therapist and proud graduate of ERP College, completing their studies in August 2023. With two years of hands-on experience, they are dedicated to helping clients feel and function their best through personalized, therapeutic care. 

 

Wimzee was drawn to massage therapy because of the profession’s unique ability to combine continuous learning with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. They find it deeply rewarding to relieve pain, reduce stress, and support clients in meeting their health and wellness goals. 

 

Specializing in treatments for the back, upper back, neck, and shoulders, Wimzee is especially skilled at helping those who spend long hours at a desk. They believe in building trust-based relationships with every client, ensuring each session is tailored to individual needs and delivered in a supportive, professional environment.

Sean Kim is a valued member of the Shawnessy team, bringing a strong background in kinesiology and specialized training in massage therapy. They hold massage therapy certificates from both Thailand and Canada, combining international knowledge with a deep passion for health and wellness. 

 

Sean specializes in trigger point therapy and takes pride in helping clients release muscle tension, restore mobility, and improve overall well-being. They love their work and are continuously expanding their expertise by studying exercise science and health-related practices. 

 

Dedicated and compassionate, Sean is committed to tailoring treatments to meet each client’s unique needs, ensuring a therapeutic experience that supports both body and mind.

William is a dedicated Registered Massage Therapist who brings a unique perspective to the field, having transitioned from a long and successful career as an engineer. Their passion for massage therapy was first sparked by a chance opportunity to study the practice while living in Japan.

 

After immigrating to Canada, William made the decision to pursue their longtime interest in healing and human connection. They completed a two-year massage therapy program and now channels their attention to detail into helping clients find lasting relief and recovery. 

 

William is committed to creating a comfortable, client-focused experience where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing. They believe in the power of gradual, consistent care and takes great pride in walking alongside their clients as they work to overcome physical challenges and regain quality of life.
